Cute Hedgehog Carrying a Pumpkin Coloring Page (Free Printable)

A cheerful hedgehog is hugging a little pumpkin while autumn leaves pile up around its feet. The spiky coat is drawn with lots of short lines, and the leaves are big and clearly outlined, which gives kids plenty of different shapes to color. This page is a lovely bridge between Halloween and general fall fun, so it can stay on the fridge well into November. Kids ages four to nine can practice layering colors on the leaves, like yellow, orange, red, and brown, to show how leaves change in autumn. Hedgehogs are also great for a nature chat: they curl into a ball when they feel scared, they sleep through the winter, and they love to snuffle through leaf piles looking for bugs. After coloring, take a walk to collect real leaves and compare their colors to the ones on the page. Kids can even glue a real leaf or two onto the paper for a fall collage.
