Cute Baby Elephant with Christmas Lights Coloring Page (Free Printable)

Wrapped in a looping strand of holiday lights, this baby elephant looks ready for a bright winter celebration. The elephant has huge floppy ears, a raised trunk, smiling eyes, a happy open mouth, chunky legs, rounded toes, and a tiny tail. The light string circles around the trunk, neck, body, and legs, with many small bulb shapes that children can turn into a cheerful pattern. Big spaces on the ears, face, body, and feet make the page approachable for younger kids, while the bulbs, cords, toenails, and trunk lines add a satisfying challenge for ages four to eight. Parents can help children count the lights, alternate two or three colors, or talk about how real lights should be handled safely by grown-ups. A fun extension is to name each bulb color before coloring, then see whether the pattern repeats all the way around the elephant. For a fun challenge, ask your child to color every bulb on the string a different color and count the bulbs as they go.
