Cute Lion Cub Coloring Page (Free Printable)
This little lion cub is still growing into its mane, and it looks very pleased about the fluffy tuft it has so far. It lies in a patch of tall grass with its front paws stretched out and a big, friendly grin. The mane is made of soft, wavy sections that are fun to color in layers of yellow, orange, and brown. The body and paws are big, simple shapes that younger kids can fill in easily, and the grass along the bottom is a nice place to practice short, quick strokes. This page works well for kids ages three to eight. While your child colors, you can talk about how lions live together in families called prides, and how lion cubs love to play and wrestle with each other. Try practicing a big lion roar, and then a tiny cub-sized one. For an extra activity, your child can draw the sun in the corner and turn the page into a sunny savanna scene, maybe with a few birds or a faraway tree.
