Cute Baby Elephant Coloring Page (Free Printable)

This baby elephant is having a wonderful day, standing in a puddle with little splashes of water flying up around its feet. It has huge rounded ears, a curly trunk, long eyelashes, and a big happy smile. The shapes are large and the outlines are thick, which makes this a great first coloring page for toddlers and preschoolers who are still learning to hold a crayon. Older kids can add details like a sunny sky, a tree, or a family of elephants in the background. Elephants are usually colored gray, but this is a perfect chance to try something new: a pink elephant, a blue one, or even one covered in polka dots. While your child colors, you can share a few fun facts. Elephants use their trunks to drink, smell, and give hugs, and they love to cool off by spraying water on their backs. Try making elephant sounds together, too. This page suits kids ages two to seven and works nicely alongside a picture book about animals in Africa or India.
