Number 1 Coloring Page: 1 Hot Air Balloon (Free Printable)

One smiling hot air balloon floats beneath a large number 1 and the word "one," giving young learners a clear counting page with just one object. The numeral and number word are big, hollow, and easy to color, so children can focus on recognizing 1 before moving to the picture. The balloon has wide curved panels, a happy face, simple ropes, and a basket with a grid pattern. Those large balloon spaces are comfortable for broad crayon strokes, while the basket squares and facial details give older preschoolers a little extra challenge. This printable suits ages 3 to 6 for number recognition, number words, and early one-to-one correspondence. Parents and teachers can ask, "How many hot air balloons do you see?" and help children answer, "One." Try finger tracing the number 1 from top to bottom, then touch the balloon once while counting aloud. Children can also color the balloon panels in a repeating pattern and point to the word one. The bottom words are part of the coloring space.
