Letter U Coloring Page: U is for Umbrella (Free Printable)

A cheerful umbrella sits under a big uppercase U and lowercase u, with round raindrops floating around its curved canopy. The letter outlines are wide and hollow, giving preschoolers plenty of room to practice steady coloring while they learn to recognize U in two forms. The umbrella has simple large panels, a curved handle, and a smiling face that feels friendly for kids ages 3 to 6. Small details like the eyes, mouth, raindrops, top cap, and little tips on the canopy add a gentle fine motor challenge without making the page too busy. Parents and teachers can use this printable to say "U is for umbrella," stretch the first sound in umbrella, and point to each U on the page. Invite children to finger trace the uppercase U and lowercase u before coloring them. Then count the raindrops together, choose a color pattern for the umbrella panels, or look around for other words and pictures that begin with the letter U. The open caption letters can be colored too.
